FireProtect 2 (CO)

CO has no color and no smell, which means a detector isn't optional — it's the only way to know it's present. The FireProtect 2 (CO) monitors air quality continuously and triggers an alarm when CO reaches 50 parts per million, well before the level where most people begin to notice any symptoms. When connected to your Ajax hub, all linked FireProtect detectors in your home sound simultaneously within 20 seconds, and the alert goes to your monitoring center if you have professional monitoring.

The built-in CO sensor is rated for 10 years of accurate detection. This RB version uses replaceable CR123A batteries that last up to 7 years, with a low battery notification at least 30 days before they need changing. Ceiling mounted with the SmartBracket panel — QR code pairing, no drilling required. Available in white and black. We recommend placing one in or near the kitchen, near the garage-to-house door, and in sleeping areas — anywhere with gas appliances, an attached garage, or people who wouldn't hear an alarm sounding in another part of the house.
