Every home security system starts with knowing when a door or window opens. The Ajax DoorProtect is the sensor that feeds that information to your Ajax hub — the brain of your system. When your system is disarmed, opening a door is logged quietly in the app. When it's armed, an open door or window triggers the alarm immediately. That's how a real security system works: every entry point covered, every state accounted for.

The DoorProtect is a two-piece sensor — the slim body mounts on the door frame, and a small magnet attaches to the door itself. The hub detects the gap between the two pieces the moment a door opens. It's rated for over 2 million openings and runs on a single pre-installed battery for up to 7 years. Available in white and black. We recommend adding a DoorProtect to every critical entry point on the ground floor — front door, back door, garage entry, and sliding doors — as well as any other locations where a window or door could be accessed from the outside. The more entry points your system knows about, the more complete your protection.
